Last year I bought a Delta miter saw for about $100. I have used it a bunch of times and never really liked it. It is hard to adjust, comes with a cheap blade, and never seems square.

I stumbled across this Denali saw and decided to give it a try. I am really surpised and pleased with the quality. Right out of the box it was square and ready to go. Adjusting it is much easier and more accurate than the more expensive Delta saw. The quality of the blade seems good well.

So far I have just used it to cut molding and to cut some 2X4s, but I look forward to using it this spring a variety of home improvement projects (Read: Honey, do. . .)

I have not heard of the Denali brand before, but I would put this up against any value priced saw from Delta, Ryobi, etc.

A good saw at a great price. I was surprised at how well this Denali miter saw performs. It has a ton of power, was accuarate out of the box, and I really like the bevel adjustment lever. Big locking power.

I have finally found something that goes against the old saying of you get what you pay for. I have had other more expensive miter saws over the years but now I have retired this saw fitted into my price range. I have had it home for a month now and am pleasantly surprised at the quality and finish of it, something I would only expect from more expensive miter saws. I took it straight out of the box and hooked it up to my dust collection system in the workshop and set to work, it is accurate and the only improvement I will have to make is down track I will purchase a finer blade to go on it. Being one of the "older generation" I dont have the strength in my hands that I used to so when I saw the locking lever on the back of the saw to hold it in place for bevel cuts I didnt know if I would be able to lock it up as most saws come with a plastic knob. In fact this locking lever is better than a plastic knob, you can get a good purchase on it where with the knobs sometimes they a too small and you cant grip them properly. All in all I am very happy with my new miter saw and have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars. Good work Denali!!
