If you have a corded DeWalt, Porter Cable or other high end reciprocating saw, you should find very little difference. This saw feels like it has as much or more power as the corded models, but the best feature is; no cord! It may be that the versitility just makes it seem more powerful. If you do demo work where it is esential to do as little collateral damage as possible, not having a cord is a dream come true.

Excellent price and fine product. Some workmen I had at the house had to borrow it because their tool couldn't do the job.

The tool works well, but even with XR batteries, i only get 3-4 minutes of run time. Buy a corded tool if you're going to use it over 3 minutes.

I bought this saw to do demolition in my house and I didn't want to have a cord to trip over. The saw works well, is easy to change blades and has a nice balance when cutting.

br /My only wish for this saw and all cordless devices is that I want more battery time - perhaps li-ion batteries.

The price was right, the saw was in excellent condition, but I think I was short changed because the saw came with only one battery. Not sure if this is the way it should have been delievered. If this is not the correct number of batteries that should come with this saw it should have been stated. This was misleading.

I have already worn out the blade cutting out some openings for gable soffit vents around my 100 year old house. It only comes with one battery but fortunately I have two spares from my DeWalt hammer drill. Besides the crappy blade that comes with the saw the only other thing that can be seen as a down fall is that it is HEAVY. But then that weight helps to define the quality of the tool. I just have a little trouble sawing with one hand over my head while I hold on to the ladder with the other. As with my factory reconditioned DeWalt hammer drill I found both tools in good condition. A few cosmetic defects from previous use but function has been 100%!

I need this saw to do small jobs in areas where electricity is not available/too distant for cords. This saw accomplishes exactly that.

Even though it is a reconditioned unit, it looks, feels and acts like new..the battery and case make it a winner for the price..I use it for everything from trimming tree branches to actual construction jobs.
Works great

I got this to do a number of tasks around the house. I haven't gotten to all of them (still need to cut up some pipes so the trash people will take them), but several of my bushes have a newfound respect for DeWalt now. LOL I expected this to have a few scuffs on it, as reciprocating saws tend to get some pretty rough treatment. It did indeed look slightly used, but nothing even close to objectionable and it saved me from that feeling you get the first time you scuff something up. Happy customer.
Great saw, great price and you get the battery too.

It's a good way to add another battery if you need one. It may be a little unconventional but I've found this does a great job of trimming low lying dead branches in the trees in my yard.

Looks and feels like a brand new, never touched by human hands, environmentally correct recip-saw. Why pay more for the same equipment. My saw had a small blemish on the yellow finish. In construction work, performance, not appearance, is what counts.

This reciprocating saw is everything that the manufacturer claims. Battery life is good, rate of cut is excellent, re-charge time is minimal and when you use it you get the feel of a quality tool. The seller did an excellent and extremely prompt job in processing and shipping the order.
