I bought this [for a reasonable price], easily the most affordable reciprocating saw... It felt comfortable carrying it as it is well contoured for your forward hand and back trigger fingers. Changing the blade was a pain with the hex key. I use it to trim trees and bushes primarily. With the Ugly blade, it works just fine for this purpose. It still feels as heavy as the more powerful 10-12 amp models offered by competitors, however, and there is some pretty heavy vibration during use. I haven't used many others though, so I don't know how the vibration is relative to them. Overall, a good product for its price.

Laughable tool

I have owned two of these saws (each one for a few minutes). The first one ran for about 3 seconds (with no load on it) before completely dying. I returned it and, unfortunately, requested a replacement instead of a refund. The second one lasted almost 30 seconds while actually cutting a 1-inch limb, then it died. I am about to return the second one for a refund. Henceforth, I will steer clear of Skil products!!!

I bought this and used it to cut down some attic stairs. It did the job well, and I have used it for basic odds and ends. I have since used someone's Milwaukee sawzall, and it is more ergonomic, lighter, and more powerful. I really can not complain about this though, because it was so cheap.
