I love the saw and it's design, but the blade that comes with it is terrible and cheap.....I bought the replacement blade, which was a little better, but for anyone doing any kind of serious work will need to find a much better and longer lasting blade....I am researching now for the best blade....
absolutely the best

I am a master finish carpenter with emphasis on high end projects, lately stair design has shifted from wood balusters to iron balusters. Most finish contractors have been using either old chop saws with fibre blades causing burns and huge messes or by clamping and cutting these 1/2" to 1" diameter steel balusters by other means. After researching my options I decided to try Triton's steel saw and after the first cut I knew that this was the best saw on the market for my needs. This saw has precision cutting action and excellant protection from flying debris and has a very smooth operation and clamping.
br /FYI, The supplied factory blade cut over 160, 1/2" diameter steel balusters with no signs of dulling.
br /Purchased this saw through a local chain of tool stores and when I opened the already opened box there was no manuals or wrenches or supplied accessories in it due to the fact that someone lost them or took them. After emailing Triton's main office regarding the missing items they immediatly contacted me directly and appologized for the mishap then promptly shipped me the missing items plus two free blades!
br /Triton has moved up to #1 on my tool recomendations!!
